What is an Evangelist?
The word "evangelist" often evokes different meanings for different people. Some see an evangelist as someone who travels from place to place. Others see them as pastors or teachers. These are all true, in part. An evangelist was defined in the New Testament as a herald of the good news. They traveled often, but sometimes stayed in one place for many years preaching the Gospel..
